Fourth annual River Valley Festival

Published

on

Front Royal, VA — The Fourth Annual River Valley Festival features the best food, wine, music and fellowship that the Shenandoah Valley has to offer.

Join together with other members of our community on September 30th, 2017 at VFW Post 1860 (nestled against the Shenandoah River) in Front Royal, VA, to celebrate the people, the God-given beauty, and fruits of our Valley.

The genius of our own local artisans and craftsman – who seemingly pour through our Valley like the Shenandoah River – will be on display. While sampling their wares and skill, take in the sound of local bluegrass and folk bands, whose music often traces its origins through backwoods, trails, and towns of these same mountains.

Perhaps even more than our talented craftsmen and musicians, the Shenandoah Valley is renowned for its food and drink. Enjoy pit-roasted meats from Winchester’s own Bonnie Blue BBQ, sample wine from Rappahannock Cellars and Chateau O’Brien and savor craft beer’s from the area’s burgeoning brewing scene.

Here in the Shenandoah Valley, family is important. We know our heritage, and it informs the way we live, and we pass that down to our children. So, the River Valley Festival is an event for the entire family.

For the kids, they can play a wide variety of free games, or learn to juggle with skill and delight during our juggling workshops. In addition, there will be face-painting and bushcraft workshops where they will learn fun and useful outdoor skills.

Please join us for this celebration of our families, friends, our valley, and the generous God who sustains them. The River Valley Festival is born out of a love for this community. We are all a part of this great place and we hope that you will attend.

Admission Special ($10 Admission includes beverage and automatic entrance to win a case of VA, wine). Deal ends September 9th!
