Hugh Joseph “Joe” Henry Jr., 88, of Browntown, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Shenandoah Senior Living.

Mr. Henry was born on May 18, 1935, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Hugh Henry Sr. and Bertha Leu Harper.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Devlin Henry.  He was the former owner of H.J. Plastering and Stucco.  After retirement, he moved to Browntown and fell in love with the area.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his daughter, Barbara S. Henry; a friend who was like a son, Joe Marcus; a close friend, Barbara Marcus and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
