It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Loretta Lynn Soyars, 50, on January 22, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.
Loretta, born September 13, 1974, was the beloved daughter of the late Elmer Lee Campbell, Jr. and Mary Katherine Campbell. Her brother, Randolph “Randy” Campbell, also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Soyars; her daughter, Ava Cameron (husband Aaron Cameron); her son, DJ Hullihan; and her grandchildren, Noah, Jayce, La’Rya, Nevaeh, and Artemis. She also leaves behind her siblings, Ronald Campbell (Vicki Campbell), Jason Campbell (Pam Campbell), Cynthia Mendes (Noel Mendes Jr.), Liz Burke (Tony), and David Lee Burke, and sister-in-law, Theresa Campbell. We all hold tightly to the memories we’ve created over the years.
Loretta faced many challenges in life with strength and determination. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and happiness. Playing bingo was one of her favorite things to do.
A service to honor Loretta’s life will be held at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, with her uncle, Sammy Campbell, officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
