Love Revival to Host Free Community Easter Celebration in Front Royal

Published

on

Families across Warren County are invited to celebrate Easter with a free community event on Saturday, April 4, hosted by Love Revival at its location on Chester Street in Front Royal.

The event will run from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at 119 Chester Street, featuring an afternoon of food, games, and activities for children and families.

Nathan Barron and his wife, Valerie “Val” Barron, who help lead Love Revival’s outreach efforts, say the event is designed to bring the community together and share the joy of Easter.

Last year’s celebration drew around 300 people, and organizers expect an even larger turnout this year.

“We certainly hope so,” Val Barron said. “We’ve already had a lot of people say they’re interested online, even more than last year.”

Free Food, Games, and Easter Egg Hunt

The family-friendly event will include a community cookout featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks, all provided free of charge.

Children will also enjoy a wide range of activities, including two bounce houses, carnival-style games, and a large Easter egg hunt.

A favorite feature from last year will return as well, free ice cream from C&C Frozen Treats, a popular local vendor.

Organizers are also planning additional attractions, including a pirate ship playground provided by the Hike Kidz Foundation, which has become a popular activity for children at community events.

There may even be a dunk tank, Nathan said, adding another element of fun to the afternoon.

Community Partnerships

Love Revival holds many of its events near its Chester Street location, working with neighboring businesses and organizations to make community gatherings possible.

The Easter celebration will use space behind the building and a nearby parking area provided by Quality Title, whose owners have supported past events.

“We have a lot of room behind the building,” Barron said. “It allows us to host activities and bring the community together.”

Ongoing Community Outreach

In addition to special events like Easter, Love Revival also hosts several regular outreach programs throughout the year.

These include a weekly food pantry on Monday nights and Breaking Free, an addiction recovery program that helps people rebuild their lives.

Nathan Barron said his own faith journey inspires the group’s work.

“My life’s completely changed,” he said. “Jesus saved my life.”

The Barrons say their ministry’s goal is not only to offer spiritual support but also to provide practical help to community members.

The event is completely free, and families are encouraged to bring their children and enjoy the afternoon.

“Bring your kids, bring your family, and come hungry,” Val said. “It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

With food, games, prizes, and activities planned, the event aims to provide a welcoming place for families to gather and celebrate the Easter season together.
