Rotary Club of Front Royal honors 2018 Warren County Teachers of the Year

Front Royal – At the May 18th meeting of the Rotary Club of Front Royal, 10 Warren County teachers were awarded “The Rotarian Award for Excellence in Educating Youth”.
The awards were presented by Melody Sheppard, Chairman of the Club’s Career Information and Educational Excellence Committee and assistant superintendent of the county’s public schools, and Superintendent of Warren County Public Schools Greg Drescher.
Criteria for selection of the teachers included setting high expectations for student achievement and supporting students in positive and esteem-building ways.
The teachers who received the awards are: Jessica Vacca, A. S. Rhodes Elementary School; Chloe Knappenberger, E. Wilson Morrison Elementary School; Kathleen Michael, Hilda J. Barbour Elementary School; Eileen Knesh, Leslie Fox Keyser Elementary School; Jessica Ryan, Ressie Jeffries Elementary School; Pamela Dyke, Skyline Middle School; Mallory Trowbridge, Warren County Middle School; Cynthia Redmon, Skyline High School; Yanileth Haworth, Warren County High School; Nash Keim, Diversified Minds.
Rotary President Rick Novak congratulated the teachers and thanked them for their hard work and dedication to the Warren County Public School system and its students.
