Sandra “Sandy” Lynn Tweedie (1952 – 2025)

Sandra “Sandy” Lynn Tweedie, 72, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Warren Memorial Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Tweedie was born on February 24, 1952, in Front Royal.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Helen Metz Kendall, and sister, Paula Williams.  She owned Front Royal School of Cosmetology, where she taught for many years.  She was formerly a member of Rivermont Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Donald Tweedie; daughter, Holly Valerio; three stepsons, Donnie Tweedie, Jeremy Tweedie, and Aaron Tweedie; two stepdaughters, Barbara Ann Arozo Caterez and Amanda Chapman; brother, Stephen Kendall; and three grandchildren, Kennedy, Bailey, and Christian.
