Santa gives Savannah Mitchell, age 5, Tallulah Bowie, age 3, Max Kauer, age 3½, the Christmas Spirit. Photo and video by Mike McCool, Royal Examiner.

Santa Claus stopped by on July 28th at C&C Frozen Treats to read some of his mail that was deposited in a special red mailbox in the store. This is all part of Santa’s Christmas in July celebration.

Santa met with some local children and told them stories about how reindeer fly, how he gets up and down chimneys, and how he gets around the world so fast. He also brought some “arctic fairies” along with him too. Bernard the Elf and Santa Security was with Santa.

Santa spoke with Savannah Mitchell, age 5, Tallulah Bowie, age 3, Max Kauer, age 3½, and Marie Funk, age 7.

Santa’s mailbox will be at C&C Frozen Treats for a few more weeks. Have your child write to Santa and drop the letters in the big, red box. Santa will be back in a few weeks to read them.

The Royal Examiner’s camera was there. Do you believe in Santa?
