Terry Allen Fristoe (1955 – 2021)

Terry Allen Fristoe, 66, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Winchester Medical Center, after a brief battle with liver cancer.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, October 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Meadowbrook Farm at Huntly, 18 Meadowbrook Lane, Huntly, Virginia with Steve Foster officiating. Inurnment will be private. There will be a Memorial Ride from the Knotty Pine to Meadowbrook Farm. If you wish to participate, please line up at 12:15 p.m. on October 3.

Terry was born January 14, 1955, in Front Royal, Virginia, son of the late Kenneth Linwood Fristoe, Sr., and Joan Ann Crane Fristoe.

He was a graduate of Warren County High School. He worked at Avtex prior to co-owning a siding business. He retired from TNT Transportation as a pilot car driver. Terry was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4186.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. “Fristoe”, as he was known by his friends, never met a stranger and was always the life of the party. He loved being around people and making them laugh and has left behind many, many great memories.

Surviving is a daughter, Tara L. Fristoe Laing, and husband Jeremiah of Front Royal; three brothers, Kenneth Linwood Fristoe, Jr. and wife Sheree of Hagerstown, Maryland, Larry Dale Fristoe and wife Lauren of Front Royal, and Kevin Glenn Fristoe and wife Paula of Amissville; and one granddaughter Ava Laing.
