WATCH: Town Council Work Session from November 19: Parking exemption

Several items were discussed at the work session:

1. Front Royal Volunteer Fire Department Request for Financial Assistance on Utility Account
2. Ordinance Amendment Request from David Downes to Exempt 14 and 16 Chester Street from the off-street parking requirements of the Town Code – Director of Planning/Zoning (20 minutes)
3. HEPTAD, LLC – Request for 1-Year Extension to Submit Development Plan
4. Proposed advertisement for invitation for bids pursuant to Va. Code §§15.2-2102 and 15.2-2103 for new, non-exclusive, franchises for cable television system and for fiber optic telecommunication System
5. Purchase and Financing of Refuse Truck

The council then went into closed session to meet with EDA Executive Director Jennifer McDonald, recently-installed EDA Board Chairman Gray Blanton and board member Ron Llewellyn. The Royal Examiner camera was not allowed behind the closed doors of that discussion.
