230th Birthday of the Bill of Rights Celebration to be held Saturday, September 21

A program of thanksgiving for Bill of Rights will be presented at 10:30 am, Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Mt. Hebron Cemetery Chapel. This will be an exciting, “living history” event! Students, parents, teachers and public are encouraged to attend. Attendance is free.
Presiding will be well-known Pastor Alan L. Morrison. Attending are church pastors, students, Scouts, civic leaders, parents and, living historian Larry W. Johnson, AKA Liberty Man.
The Forty American Revolution War veterans buried in Mt. Hebron Cemetery will be honored for their sacrifice in securing the Independence of the United States. Living historians in period dress will be in attendance.

Scholars will speak as Revolutionary War Soldiers, and re-enactors will tell stories and show their equipment. Liberty Man, a popular “old soldier,” Abel Johnston will meet kids and adults. Liberty Man portrays his Great x4 Grandfather who fought the British alongside General Daniel Morgan. Many other descendants of soldiers, who fought in the Revolution will be present. Bring your cameras!
Hundreds of Soldiers, Airmen, Marines, and Sailors who fought in all our wars for our Constitution are buried at Mt. Hebron. This is your opportunity to honor them with your presence.
