Front Royal Welcomes New Wellness Studio Focused on Mind, Body, and Community

A new wellness studio focused on healing, connection, and personal growth has opened its doors in Front Royal, welcoming community members with a ribbon-cutting celebration at Horseshoe Farms.

With Grace & Joy Wellness Center, owned by Jessyca Canizales, officially launched with support from the Front Royal–Warren County Chamber of Commerce and local residents.

Jessyca Canizales (left) and Brett Beaman (right) cut the ribbon alongside friends and team members at the opening of With Grace & Joy Wellness Center.

“This evening… the atmosphere is stellar,” said Niki Foster, executive director of the Chamber, as she welcomed attendees to the event.

Brett Beaman of Play Favorites, speaking on behalf of the Chamber, highlighted the feeling inside the space.

“For those of you who haven’t had a chance to go, there’s a lot of warmth in here,” Beaman said. “Jessica, thank you for bringing what you’re bringing into the community.”

Canizales, who named the business after her two daughters, Grace and Joy, said opening the center in Virginia is both personal and purposeful.

“It feels really good and right to return to my home state of Virginia and to be here and to root down,” she said. “Not just share, but also hopefully create community.”

The center offers a wide range of wellness services, including yoga, meditation, qi gong, and Pilates classes held throughout the week. Programs are designed for all levels, with both beginner-friendly and more advanced options.

“We’ve got a bunch of different varieties and it’s super beginner friendly,” Canizales said.

Beyond weekly classes, With Grace & Joy also hosts weekend retreats, ceremonies, and specialized trainings in areas such as yoga instruction, Reiki, and sound healing. The location at Horseshoe Farms allows for unique experiences, including events involving horses.

“We do events with the horses… and what I like to call healing art trainings,” she said.

The philosophy behind the center goes beyond traditional wellness offerings. According to its mission, the space is designed to help individuals “show up—fully raw, beautifully imperfect, and unapologetically” themselves, using a blend of movement, mindfulness, and community connection.

Canizales emphasized that building that sense of connection is central to the space.

“A huge part of mental health and holistic health is community,” she said. “We’ve opened this space to create a community… where people can come for practice, but stay for tea, enjoy the fire, and make friends.”

In addition to classes and retreats, the center offers services such as massage, nutritional coaching, energy work, red light therapy, and ice baths. Private sessions and group experiences are also available.

Organizers say the goal is to create more than just a wellness studio—it is meant to be a place for transformation, reflection, and support.

“We are here to really help people tune in to becoming the best version of themselves,” Canizales said.

With Grace & Joy Wellness Center is located at 509 Morgan Ford Road in Front Royal. More information, including class schedules and bookings, is available online or by phone at 540-384-9911.
