One-Time Events

Samuels Library Book Clubs Holiday Party
🎉 When: December 7, 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Celebrate a year of great reads with members of the library’s “Bad Romance” and “Books and Beyond” book clubs. Share book recommendations, enjoy delicious food, and connect with fellow readers in this festive gathering.

Studio 101: Sewing 101 – Parts 1 & 2
🧵 When: December 4 & 18, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Learn the basics of sewing in this beginner-friendly workshop. By signing up for the first session, you’re automatically enrolled in the second, giving you the tools to complete a simple sewing project.

Have tech troubles? Bring your devices to the library for hands-on help with phones, tablets, laptops, and more.

Walking Book Club
🚶 When: December 3, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Discuss your current reads while strolling with fellow book lovers. Meet at the library on the first Tuesday of every month.

Studio 330: Embroidery Club
🧵 When: Thursdays, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Gather weekly with other crafters to work on your embroidery projects in a friendly, creative environment.

Studio 330: Genealogy Club
🎄 When: December 11, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Preserve family memories by creating your own Christmas ornament using photos, family crests, or handwritten notes. Plus, explore the library’s digitization tools to safeguard old tapes and films.

Phoenix Project – Hope for New Beginnings
💜 When: December 17, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Receive confidential support and resources for those affected by domestic violence or sexual assault. Advocates are available to help with safety planning, crisis intervention, and more.
