Doris “Jean” Orsi (1932 – 2025)

Doris “Jean” Orsi, 92, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital, in Fairfax, Virginia.

A funeral service will be held at 10:15 a.m. on March 20, 2025, at the Maddox Funeral Home Chapel, 105 W Main St, Front Royal, Virginia 22630, with Father Gee officiating. Following the Service, her burial will take place at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Maryland.

Jean was born on October 10, 1932 in Washington D.C. to the late Otho Moses and Dora Crocket Teague. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Orsi, and her son, Edward M. Jones, Jr.

Surviving Jean are her children Patricia, Kathleen, Carol, and Tom Jones; her granddaughters, Jennifer and Olivia Jones; and five great-grandchildren.

Jean had a fierce will, an artistic spirit, and a strong appreciation of her extended family.
