Holiday Jazz Concert Brings Vintage Swing to North Warren Fire Hall

Published

on

The holiday season is getting a jazzy twist this year in Front Royal. Local singer Natascha Bolden will headline “A Vintage Holiday Evening of Jazz” with the Yesterday Swing Orchestra Quartet on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the North Warren Fire Hall (Fire Station 10) at 266 Rockland Road.

The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. and will run until 8:00 p.m., offering audiences a cozy, swing-filled evening full of festive cheer and classic sounds.

“I wanted to create something that brings people together around the warmth of timeless music,” said Bolden. “Jazz has a way of making the holidays feel even more special.”

Known for her smooth, expressive vocals, Bolden will perform holiday favorites and selections from the Gershwin Songbook, as well as jazz standards made popular by legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Billie Holiday.

Backed by the Yesterday Swing Orchestra Quartet, the show promises an authentic vintage jazz feel—bringing the golden age of swing to a modern stage in the Shenandoah Valley.

More Than Holiday Favorites

In addition to holiday tunes, Bolden will preview her upcoming original single, “Insider Threat,” and share a sneak peek of songs from her electro swing album in progress—the mix of old and new promises a unique experience for longtime jazz fans and newcomers alike.

Admission is pay-what-you-can, with a suggested donation of $15. All are welcome, and no ticket is required. Seating will be first-come, first-served.

“Music should be for everyone,” said Bolden. “Whether you can give more or less, just come and enjoy the night.”

Supporting Local Talent

Bolden, a Front Royal resident, has performed across the region and is quickly building a name for herself with her rich voice and creative blend of vintage jazz and modern swing. Her live performances often feature a mix of charm, storytelling, and vocal power that appeals to all ages.

Hosting the event at the North Warren Fire Hall adds to the night’s community feel. “It’s a great local space, and we’re excited to fill it with music, warmth, and holiday spirit,” Bolden said.
