Kent Louis Gagnon, 62, passed on May 9, 2026, at Heritage Hall – Front Royal in Front Royal, VA. He was born on March 29, 1964, to John Aaron and Joyce Ann Gagnon in Rutland, Vermont.

Kent Louis Gagnon

Kent graduated from Clarke County High School in 1982 and later attended Longwood College and the University of Georgia.

Kent lived a quiet and modest life, facing the challenges of disabilities with strength and resilience.  Though his world was simple, it was filled with love and support from his family, who brought him comfort and companionship.   One of Kent’s true joys was bowling, and for many years, he found camaraderie in a local bowling league in Winchester, VA.  He also enjoyed watching PBA telecasts on television.

Kent was well known for his humor and quick wit, and he could always make people laugh.  He will be remembered for his determined spirit, his laughter, and the special moments he shared with those who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind his older brothers, Mark Gagnon of Lancaster, PA, and Scott Gagnon of Bruington, VA, his dear sister, Jill Gagnon of Bunker Hill, WV, and nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in Vermont at a later date.

The family would like to offer sincere appreciation to the staff at Heritage Hall and Blue Ridge Hospice.
