NOTICE: Battle of Front Royal weekend June 9 & 10

Come experience what life was like in Front Royal during the Civil War at Front Royal’s Civil War Weekend June 9 and 10

June 9 – The event begins with musical performances at the Gazebo and Town Commons featuring the Tuscarora Brass Band at 10:00am and 2:30pm and Evergreen Shade at 11:30.

10:00am living history demonstrations will begin at the Warren County Courthouse and Gazebo grounds.

1:30pm experience the sites and sounds of armed conflict as the Battle of Front Royal is reenacted on Main and Chester Streets.

Civil War History information vendor booths also will be at the gazebo parking area starting 10:00am.

June 10 –  10:00am to 12:00pm visit the Civil War encampment at the Warren Heritage Society; and,

1:00pm – wreath laying at Warren County Court House Sunday

Please be aware that the loud nature of the battle will affect dogs and small children.
