Betty Stratton supports Janice Shanks for Clerk of the Court

I have known Janice Shanks for over 40 years.

Management skills are learned and developed over a lifetime of experience. Taking care of yourself or a few employees is not the same as managing a staff of ten or more and working with the judges of the Circuit Courts in our area, the senior level officials of the Virginia Supreme Court, the Audit Teams of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Of the three candidates for Clerk, only Janice Shanks has 20 years of management experience, first in successfully operating Howard Johnsons and Jimbo’s Restaurants, then working in the legal community leading up to the last 4 years in the Warren County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office.

Experience Counts and only Janice Shanks has that experience.
