Annual Yard Sale in Front Royal Offers Bargains for a Cause

Published

on

Bargain hunters and community supporters will find plenty to explore at the Annual Front Royal United Women in Faith Yard Sale, happening June 20 and 21 at the Front Royal United Methodist Church. The popular sale is returning to the church’s Fellowship Hall, located at 1 West Main Street in downtown Front Royal.

This large indoor event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, June 20, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 21. With a wide range of gently used items on display, shoppers can expect to find kitchenware, linens, yard tools, small pieces of furniture, and children’s clothing—all priced to sell.

More than just a chance to snag a deal, the yard sale supports a bigger purpose. All proceeds will benefit United Women in Faith missions, which focus on programs that improve the lives of women and children both locally and around the world.

Volunteers with United Women in Faith have been sorting, pricing, and organizing donations for weeks to prepare for this annual tradition. Volunteers shared that the funds from the sale go directly to missions that make a meaningful impact. Many shoppers attend not only for the bargains but also because they want to support a cause that helps others.

The sale has become a summer staple in Front Royal, often drawing a steady crowd of early browsers looking for hidden treasures. Because the sale is indoors, the event will be held rain or shine, offering a comfortable shopping experience no matter the weather.

Visitors are encouraged to come early for the best selection. The items tend to go quickly, especially kitchen and household goods, which are always in high demand. Families with young children may also find affordable back-to-school clothes and shoes.

For those who want to learn more or have questions about donations or the mission work supported by the sale, the church office can be reached at (540) 635-2935.

Whether you’re looking to stock up your kitchen, find a unique piece of furniture, or just enjoy a few hours of browsing, the Annual United Women in Faith Yard Sale promises great finds for a great cause.
