Apple Valley Dental Group ‘Teacher of the Year’ receives $1000 education grant
On May 10th, at Leslie Fox Keyser Elementary School, Apple Valley Dental Group presented their first annual Teacher of the Year $1000 education grant to Ms. Nytasha Brisco.
Ms. Brisco was selected from among the many letters of recommendation from parents and community members who submitted their letters to their office.
Drs. Sartelle and Byers, and the staff of Apple Valley Dental Group are pleased to be able to show their appreciation for the hard work of the teachers in our community. Teachers are the unsung heroes. They work tirelessly and seldom receive the recognition and appreciation they deserve. “Every child deserves an opportunity at a good education. So, we are happy to present this grant to a teacher that exhibits excellence. We hope that in a small way we will have contributed to helping them continue to make a difference,” said Joyce Kenney, Patient Coordinator at Apple Valley.
Nytasha Brisco is making a difference.
Nytasha has been working in the Warren County Public Schools for 16 years, most recently at LFK. She has reached out to children with special needs. She has worked with both the parents and the students, educating and advocating for them. She has given tirelessly of her time, expertise, and resources for the benefit of her students.
Said Ginger Foster, lead chairside assistant for Apple Valley and a former instructional assistant at LFK for many years, “I know firsthand the difference this grant can make in the lives and classroom of Ms. Brisco’s students. A big congratulations Nytasha!”
The Royal Examiner’s camera was there when Drs Sartelle and Byers presented the award.
