Betty Jean Menefee (1937 – 2026)
Betty Jean Menefee, 89, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Skyview Health and Rehab in Luray, Virginia.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19, at 2:00 p.m. in Prospect Hill Cemetery, with family friend Sammy Campbell officiating.
Mrs. Menefee was born June 11, 1937, in Greene County, Virginia, daughter of the late George Benson and Maggie Marshall Shifflett.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She was married to the late Earl Lee Menefee Sr.
Surviving are two sons, Earl Menefee Jr. and Gary Menefee, both of Front Royal; one daughter, Donna Swiger of Colorado Springs, Colorado; special grandson, Jason Voron of Front Royal; four additional grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 19, from 1-2 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.
