Connie Wayland supports Janice Shanks for Clerk of the Court

I have known Janice Shanks since our children were young. She has been a tried and true friend and a mountain of support. She is perfect for the position of Circuit Court Clerk. She was a restaurant manager for 20 years and handled a huge staff 7 days a week. After her husband’s untimely passing, she became a court reporter and handled some of the most sensitive criminal and civil cases in our area for another 20 years. Now she is in the perfect position for her skills.

You don’t have to be a lawyer to be Clerk of Court. But you have to be a “people person”. This is Janice: she listens to people. She likes people. She is nice to people. These are personal traits that you either have or you never have, and Janice has them. Warren County is blessed to have Janice in the position of Clerk of Court at this heart-wrenching time in our history. I cannot imagine a better-suited person for this important post in our government.
