Cosby A. “Cubby” Fisher, 86, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away at Lynn Care Center on Thursday, October 17, 2024.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, with Pastor Claudette Wilcher officiating.

Mrs. Fisher was born in West Virginia on November 5, 1937, to the late Nelson and Daisy Skeens Fisher.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Conley Fisher; son, Ralph “Rocky” Wallen; and eight siblings.

Survivors include two daughters, Terry Barnett (William) and Michelle Groves (Mike); two sisters, Dorlene Post and Flonda Jordan; four grandchildren, Timmy Wallen, Mindy Wallen, Justin Clark, and Jenni Phillips; great-granddaughter Mila Clark; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
