Dennis John Humenik (1944 – 2024)

Dennis John Humenik, 80, of New Bern, North Carolina, passed away with his family in Linden, Virginia, on Friday, October 17, 2024.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 120 West Main Street, Front Royal, with Father Daniel Gee officiating.  Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Humenik was born on July 31, 1944, in Fairfax, Virginia, to the late Frank Humenik and Gladys Evoy Moore.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Humenik, and sister, Christel Humenik.  He was a St. Paul Roman Catholic Church member in New Bern, North Carolina, where he volunteered at the food pantry.  He retired as a cartographer from the United States Geological Survey.

The family will receive friends one half hour before the service at the church.
