Engines, Chrome, and Community Spirit to Shine at Middletown’s 15th Annual Car, Truck & Tractor Show

Get ready, gearheads! The 15th Annual Middletown Car, Truck & Tractor Show roars into town this Saturday, August 16, 2025, bringing with it the largest display of automotive, truck, and tractor excellence in the Shenandoah Valley. This beloved event draws up to 400 vehicles from across the region for a full day of classic charm, chrome, and community spirit. The show is proudly sponsored by City National Bank, Hang 10 Car Wash, and Thomas Lash, Esquire.

With hundreds of vehicles expected, attendees can stroll Main Street to admire meticulously restored classics, high-performance muscle cars, unique custom builds, powerful trucks, and antique tractors that celebrate agricultural heritage. This year’s show promises to be the biggest yet, and for the 15th Anniversary, an auto parts and license plate sale will take place on the town’s new piece of preserved land on 7881 Main Street! DJ Freddie Cheshire will be spinning the tune,s and thousands of dollars in silent auction and raffle items will be on hand! In addition, 2025 Middletown license plates will go on sale to the public for just $10!

Special Perks for Participants
All registered car show participants will receive:

  • A free $25-value car wash from Hang 10 Car Wash
  • A fresh-baked cookie from Blue Ridge Baking Company
  • A free drink from Shaffer’s BBQ & Market
  • Exclusive discounts to participating local restaurants, Vault & Cellar and Daily Buzz Cafe

Event Highlights:

  • Time: Route 11 Closes at 2:45, Car Show opens at 3:00 p.m.; Ends at 8:00 p.m.
  • The Middletown Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will be selling food and drinks as a fundraiser
  • Location: Main Street, Middletown, VA
  • Awards: Multiple categories, with trophies for Top 25, Top 10, Best European Car, Sheriff’s Choice, Best Tractor, Mayor’s Choice, and more
  • Admission: Free for spectators; $10 fee for vehicle registration

“This event isn’t just about beautiful cars and powerful engines — it’s about community,” said Middletown Mayor Charles Harbaugh IV. “From our sponsors to our local businesses, this is a day where we bring people together to enjoy the best of Middletown while showcasing the incredible craftsmanship and pride that goes into these vehicles.”

The Middletown Car, Truck & Tractor Show is a major fundraiser for the town’s annual July 4th Celebration, helping to fund one of the Valley’s largest Independence Day events.
