For the Cat’s Sake Fall Market: A Fun Day for a Great Cause
This fall, Front Royal is going to the cats! On Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., For the Cats’ Sake, a local cat rescue organization, will host its much-anticipated Fall Market. The event will be held at the Front Royal Fire and Rescue Co. 1, at 221 N. Commerce Avenue in Front Royal, Virginia. With over 35 vendors, a bounce house, delicious treats, and more, this market promises to be a fun-filled day for the whole family—all while supporting a wonderful cause.
For the Cats’ Sake is a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2014, based in the rural heart of Rappahannock County, Virginia. The organization’s mission is clear: to help control the cat population in the Piedmont region of Virginia, which includes Culpeper, Fauquier, Rappahannock, and Warren counties. They do this through spaying and neutering stray, feral, and domesticated cats and finding loving homes for these animals through their foster-based adoption program. In addition, they operate a T.N.R. (Trap, Neuter & Return) program, which plays a crucial role in managing and reducing the stray cat population.
The Fall Market is not just an event—it’s an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of cats across the region. By attending, you’ll be helping For the Cats’ Sake continue their vital work. Whether shopping for unique crafts from local vendors, enjoying a sweet treat or watching your kids have fun in the bounce house, every dollar spent at the market will support the organization’s mission.
The market is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of community spirit. “We’re excited to bring together local vendors and supporters for a day of fun and fundraising,” said a representative from For the Cats’ Sake. “Every purchase helps us continue our efforts to provide care and homes for cats in need.”
So, mark your calendars and head down to 221 N. Commerce Avenue on September 7th. It’s a day of family fun and all for the love of cats! For more information, visit their website at www.ForTheCatsSake.org or call 757-768-8680.
