An off-duty Frederick County Sheriff’s Deputy and his wife died in a Sunday motorcycle crash in Page County, according to Virginia State Police.

Randall E. Hensley, 46, and his wife Melissa “Missy” Hensley, 47, both of Luray, were killed while riding their Harley Davidson Sunday, around 6:45 p.m., on Route 340 in Page County, according to Virginia State Police Sgt. Les Tyler.

Frederick County Sheriff Lenny Millholland posted on Facebook, “Please keep their family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. You both will be missed by so many.”

Tyler stated that a pick-up truck traveling south on Route 340 sideswiped a northbound SUV and then struck the couple’s motorcycle head-on.

Tyler said no arrests have been and the crash remained under investigation.
