The Front Royal Police Department is seeking the public’s help regarding an incident concerning Lonnie Brown, who recently relocated to the area from Alabama.

Detective Landin Waller, with the Criminal Investigations Division, said in a telephone interview Wednesday evening that police are trying to trace the whereabouts of Mr. Brown from the time he left his Fox Drive residence around 7:30 p.m. on Friday night, Sep. 14, and returned at approximately 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

Brown was driving a 1996 green Chevrolet Blazer, with an Alabama license plate.  He is described as being about five feet, six inches tall, and weighing 130 pounds.

Waller said Brown had sustained injuries that could be consistent with an assault, but because Brown was transported to a local hospital and is currently undergoing medical treatment, officers have been unable to interview him.

Anyone with information regarding Brown and his whereabouts on Friday night or early Saturday morning is encouraged to contact Detective Landin Waller at (540) 636-2208 or lwaller@frontroyalva.com.
