George Edward “J.R.” Mulligan Jr. (1985 – 2024)

George Edward “J.R.” Mulligan Jr., 39, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at his home.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, with Sammy Campbell officiating.

J.R. was born on April 17, 1985, in Front Royal to George Mulligan Sr. and Esther Darlene Burke.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Mulligan, and brother, Christopher Mulligan.  We worked for Home Paramount Pest Control and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kati Mulligan; two sons, Joseph Mulligan and Waylon Mulligan; three daughters, Mirrah-Lynn Mulligan, P.J. Mulligan, and Hadley Mulligan; three brothers, Jack Mulligan, David Mulligan, and Daniel Mulligan; two half brothers, Ethan Mulligan and Brandon Mulligan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m.
