Lillie Victoria Burke of Silver Spring, Maryland, died at home on June 6, 2025.

Lillie was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee, on June 5, 1932.

Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Burke; parents Raleigh and Luthenia Garland; sisters Helen Tester and Rhetta Lowe; and brothers Willard Garland, Crawford Garland, and Lynson Garland. She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Connie Lee Gerald.

Lillie is survived by sister Patsy Coup (Earl), children Michael Gerald, Vickie Grimet, Tammy Thomas (Pat), and Debbie Gerald (Dave Matteson); granddaughters Sarah Grimet, Caitie Grimet (David Prinzel), Ashleigh Dies (Patrick); Natalie Guziak (Bryan), and Roxie Grimet; great-grandchildren Nathan, Justin, Christopher, Lilly, Logan, Ivy Prinzel; and Rosalie, Amelie, and Maxwell Dies; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on June 15, 2025, at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, Virginia 22630. Viewing will be at 12 noon, and service will be at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, 200 W. Prospect Street, Front Royal, Virginia 22630.
