Madeline A. Senter (1938 – 2026)

Madeline A. Senter, 87, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Pastor Dottie Holden officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal.

Mrs. Senter was born August 21, 1938, in Washington, Virginia, the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Jenkins Keatts.

She retired after many dedicated years from Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Day of Front Royal and Timothy Senter (Juanita) of Middletown; three daughters, Sharon Settle (Dave Slevin), Doris Plymale (Mark) and Ann Fincham (Jimmy), all of Front Royal; four grandchildren, Jamie Settle (Morgan McDonald), Timmy Senter, Dakota Plymale and Jessica Plymale; one great-grandson, Jaden Settle; and one sister, Colleen Keatts of Front Royal.

Mrs. Senter was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Eugene Senter, and two sisters, Christine Ross and Charlotte Henry.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Settle, Timmy Senter, Dakota Plymale, Wayne Ross, Kenny Ross, and Timmy Andrews.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jessica Plymale.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 17, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
