Melinda Williams Putnam (1955 – 2025)

Melinda Williams Putnam, 70, of Stanley, Virginia, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held for Melinda at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Panorama Memorial Gardens, 4917 Strasburg Road, Strasburg, Virginia, with Sammy Campbell officiating.

Melinda was born in Warren County, Virginia, on June 13, 1955, to her late parents, Edgar Francis Browning Williams and Alma Elizabeth Wines Williams.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Ted Allen Putnam; her children, Tanya Noble-Marx (Brian), Cory Putnam (Sara), and Amanda Putnam; her grandchildren, Logan, Geordie, Grace, and Natalie; her fur babies that she spoiled rotten, Sabie and Mikey; and numerous extended family members.

Melinda enjoyed fishing, bingo, yard sales, thrift stores, and spending time with friends and family at Hawksbill in Stanley. Above all, she loved her family.
