Michael Pieloch passed away at home on Sunday, December 22, 2024.

A celebration of life will be held at the Maddox Funeral Home on a date to be announced. Entombment will occur in the spring at the Northport, Long Island, Rural Cemetery.

Michael was born on June 21, 1974, to Mark and Joyce Pieloch.

Michael was a kind, generous, and gentle soul who deeply loved his family and friends. He is survived by his father, Mark; sister, Tracy; four nieces and nephews, Hailey, Kacey, Griffin, and Peyton; and his aunt, Sharon.

Michael attended Woodbridge Senior High School in Lake Ridge, Virginia, and worked as an Assistant Manager for the Safeway grocery chain.

Michael’s family and friends were his greatest source of joy. He will always be remembered by his family and friends for his generous heart, acts of kindness, and resilience and perseverance through many years of struggling with multiple health-related issues. Michael had a passion for enjoying time with family and friends, fishing, and was a big fan of the singer-songwriter Bob Marley.

The family extends deeply heartfelt thanks to his compassionate and long-time friend, Lars.
