New to the Fight, Here to Stay: A Happy Creek Resident Speaks Out

Published

on

I’ve been a resident of Warren County for just over eight years. I live in the Happy Creek district (news to me!) I discovered this fact when the issue of Samuels Public Library became an issue known to me and my family. While I have not been in this fight as long as others. I haven’t poured nearly as much of my blood, sweat, and tears over the constant disappointments and supervisors’ meetings that end nowhere. However, after getting to know members behind this truly important cause, I am in it now until the end.  The members of the Save Samuels Community are truly resilient, remarkable, passionate, and dedicated! I’ve been changed for the better just by knowing them!

Our family has personally benefited from the library over the past 8 years. It was an excellent place to bring our kiddo when he was younger to play and read. We attend their free events to this day as well as use their computers to print off documents needed. The list goes on.  These are crucial services that benefit children and adults alike.

We have much bigger fish to fry in our county as a whole.  Plus, the disdain from the Board Four (not Ms. Cullers) is growing tiresome and ridiculously obvious. The lies, corruption, and misinformation must end. This is going to be the Board Four’s legacy (not Ms. Cullers) and what an embarrassment it is!
