COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Hundreds of volunteers at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado have been answering telephones for hours Sunday, as excited children have been calling in to learn just where Santa is on his schedule of delivering gifts to boys and girls.

NORAD Tracks Santa, in its 62nd year, is a joint effort of the United States and Canadian militaries.

The toll-free telephone number to reach NORAD Tracks Santa is: 877- Hi NORAD or 877–446-6723.  Around 1,500 volunteers, working in shifts, will be on hand to field questions from children throughout Christmas Eve.

Updates are also available at the NORAD website in English as well as a number of other languages.

Facebook, Instagram and Twitter will also be updated by NORAD throughout Christmas Eve.
