Rick Steele (1933 – 2024)

Rick Steele, 91, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, December 22, at 3:30 p.m. at Riverton Church, with Pastor Marc Roberson officiating. The inurnment will be private.

Mr. Steele was born March 7, 1933, in Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of the late Gordon A. and Ida Johnsmeyer Steele.

He retired after many dedicated years as a Deputy Sheriff from the Warren County Sheriff’s Department. He was a long-time member of the Fraternal Order of Police and an active member of Riverton Church for many years.

Surviving are three generations of family.
