RSW Regional Jail: Board of Directors Meeting May 23, 2019
At the May 23rd meeting of the RSW Regional Jail Authority Board of Directors Meeting, the Board voted to re-appoint County Administrator Doug Stanley as chairman, Shenandoah County supervisor Conrad Helsley as vice chairman, and Rappahannock County Administrator Garrey Currey as the secretary/treasurer. The Board also welcomed Warren County Sheriff Michael Arnold to the Board.
The Superintendent’s Report by Major Steve Weaver updated the Board with number of inmates from the members counties and outside agencies. The average bed count is 475 inmates. He also reported on the vacancies at the RSW.

Stephanie Smith gave the financial report stating that the total income for the fiscal year so far is $1.2 million. The Royal Examiner’s camera was there and you can watch and see the details of the meeting.
