Scott Turnmeyer Announces Run for Warren County Board of Supervisors in Happy Creek District
Business owner Bryan Scott Turnmeyer has entered the race for the Warren County Board of Supervisors, officially announcing his candidacy to represent the Happy Creek District.

Turnmeyer brings a mix of private-sector experience and community advocacy to the campaign. A lifelong Warren County resident, he is known for his work in local tourism, media, and business development. He says he’s ready to take that experience to the county level.
“Tourism is not just about weekend visitors, it fuels our tax base, supports jobs across multiple sectors, and brings in the revenue we need to invest in schools, emergency services, and infrastructure,” Turnmeyer said.
His platform strongly advocates economic development through tourism. He believes Warren County is underleveraging one of its most powerful assets: natural beauty and location. With more strategic marketing and coordination between the town and county, he says, tourism could become an even more reliable economic engine.
“A smart tourism strategy is an economic development strategy, and it helps keep the pressure off local taxpayers by bringing in outside dollars,” Turnmeyer said.
In addition to tourism, Turnmeyer is campaigning for long-term planning, responsible growth, and the preservation and enhancement of public services. That includes infrastructure investment, emergency response support, library services, and school funding.
“I’m running because I believe Warren County can thrive, not survive,” he said. “By embracing what makes us unique, investing wisely, and working together, we can build a stronger future for everyone.”
To make himself more accessible to voters, Turnmeyer plans a series of in-person meet-and-greet events and Facebook Live sessions throughout the campaign. Event details will be posted on his website, www.scottturnmeyer.com, and on his campaign’s Facebook page.
“I want this to be a conversation, not a monologue,” he said. “I’m looking forward to meeting with voters and hearing what matters most to them.”
The Happy Creek District seat is one of several on the ballot this year as voters choose representatives to guide the county through a time of growth, opportunity, and continued challenge.
