Tamela Brzezinski supports Janice Shanks for Clerk of the Court

Dear Citizen of Warren County,

I am writing this letter in support of Janice Shanks, candidate for the position of Warren County Circuit Court Clerk.

I was born and raised in the little community of Reliance, Virginia. Like most, I left home in pursuit of education, adventure and gainful employment. My husband and I returned home to Warren County some ten years later to raise our family.

I am currently employed as a Deputy Clerk in the Circuit Court office reporting to Janice Shanks. I have worked in small privately-owned companies as well as very large Corporations in the DC Metropolitan area and never have I experienced such a well-managed office. Ms. Shanks utilizes the strengths of each team member to best serve the County of Warren. She is always available to answer the questions of her team and to educate us on policy and procedures. She is also gracious in providing the public with that same courtesy. Janice is proficient in her duties as Clerk of the Court overseeing the needs of the office, managing budgets, handling the requirements of the Special Grand Jury, her duties are endless, and she tackles each task as a true professional.

The first time I had the pleasure of meeting Janice was while I was having dinner with my nephew at The Mill on main street. Isaiah was telling me about a movie he had watched about a mechanical dog the saved the world. Janice and her husband George were seated at the next table and could not help but hear the story told by a seven-year-old. Janice turned and introduced herself to Isaiah and began to ask him details about the movie. She was interested in every detail the little boy had to tell her and she listened intently.

In closing I urge you to support Janice Shanks for the position of Clerk of the Court for Warren County. She is not only qualified for the job from a managerial stand point but she listens to the citizens of this county, even the youngest of the members.
