Opinion
Thank You Cheryl Cullers
Thank you for being the voice of reason and compromise when your fellow BOS are insistent on being reckless and irresponsible.
- Your fellow BOS are asking for library transparency when ALL the library budget numbers/dollars are already available to them.
- Your fellow BOS are asking for library accountability when the library is already accountable to the BOS. (The BOS approves the library budget. The BOS has not increased the library budget for 3 years. That is accountability)
- Your fellow board members are planning to throw away a library public/private partnership which has served Warren County extremely well for nearly 50 years. You understand that the only reason we have a world-class library is because of this public/private partnership.
I know you are exasperated. Please do not lose heart. Please continue to point out all the ways your fellow BOS are wasting county time and money. (The latest RFP will significantly expand the county time and dollars needlessly wasted) Please know that we appreciate your voice of reason and compromise. Thank you.
