Vicky G. Saffell (1949 – 2024)

Vicky G. Saffell, 75, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Warren Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 21, at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Inurnment will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens at Waterlick.

Vicky was born June 5, 1949, in Roanoke, Virginia, the daughter of the late C.N. “Mike” Hartman and Ruby M. Hartman.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, James H. Saffell, Sr; son, James H. Saffell, Jr. (Cary); brothers, Michael W. Hartman (Cindy) and Kevin G. Hartman (Cindy); granddaughter, Amy L. Kelly (Mykal); one great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.

Vicky loved watching the birds and flowers in her yard, riding motorcycles, racing, and going to the beach.

Her loving family and friends will greatly miss her.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 21, from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
