Warren Coalition Reaches Fundraising Milestone with Community Support
In a remarkable show of community spirit, the Warren Coalition achieved its ambitious goal of raising $30,000 in 30 days to celebrate 30 years of service to Warren County. The campaign, which marked the Coalition’s first major fundraising effort of this scale, brought together local organizations, businesses, and individuals in a shared mission to support the nonprofit’s impactful work.
A Bold Initiative
The Coalition’s 30 for 30 campaign set out to highlight the organization’s legacy of addressing community needs. Though primarily funded by federal grants, the Coalition took this opportunity to engage the community directly, showcasing the breadth of its programs and services that touch the lives of nearly everyone in Warren County.
Challenges arose, including hurricanes that diverted attention and illnesses among staff that hindered in-person fundraising efforts. Despite these hurdles, the campaign was buoyed by significant contributions, including a $20,000 matching gift from an anonymous donor and a $5,000 Difference Maker sponsorship from Valley Health Warren Memorial Hospital.
Community Generosity
“This campaign demonstrated the power of community,” said Christa Shifflett, Executive Director of the Warren Coalition. “Every gift, large or small, played a role in helping us meet this milestone. It reflects the trust and value the community places in our work.”
Key sponsors included:
- Difference Maker: Valley Health Warren Memorial Hospital ($5,000)
- Superstars: American Woodmark Foundation, Marlow Motors, Ramsey Hardware, Skyline Insurance Agency, and State Farm Insurance (Ellen Aders & Bill Powers)
- Influencers: Bret Hrbek of Edward Jones and George McIntyre of The Apple House
The campaign also benefited from support from Coalition member Holly Goode and community member Lisa Parker, whose dedication amplified outreach efforts.
A Shared Celebration
The success of the 30 for 30 campaign is a testament to Warren County’s sense of community. Contributions ensured the Coalition’s ongoing work and reinforced its role as a unifying force in the region.
As the Coalition looks to the future, this campaign serves as a reminder of what is possible when a community rallies together for a common cause. “The support we received reflects the lives we touch,” Shifflett added. “We couldn’t have done this without everyone’s generosity.”
The Coalition expressed deep gratitude to all who contributed, making its 30th anniversary a celebration of unity, resilience, and hope for the years ahead.
