Excitement is building in Front Royal as the Warren County High School Girls’ Basketball team gets ready to face off against Manassas Park High School this Friday, January 9, 2026. The evening of hoops kicks off with the junior varsity (JV) game at 6 p.m., followed by the varsity matchup at 7:15 p.m. Both games will be held at the Warren County High School gym.

This game marks an important moment in the Wildcats’ season, as the team looks to continue building momentum and community spirit. Fans and families are encouraged to come out, wear their school colors, and help energize the gym with hometown pride.

For those who can’t attend in person, there’s still a chance to catch all the action. Thanks to the hard work of the school’s student-run broadcast team, Wildcats Live!, both the JV and varsity games will be streamed online through the Royal Examiner’s website. The broadcast, produced in partnership with Warren County DECA, will feature live play-by-play commentary, game updates, and post-game highlights.

Warren County High School Principal Ken Knesh praised the broadcast team’s dedication. “It’s incredible to see our students take the lead on something so professional. Wildcats Live! is a great example of how school spirit and hands-on learning can come together.”

As the Wildcats gear up for this exciting home game, the community’s support plays a big role. Whether it’s cheering from the stands or watching online, students, parents, and local residents are invited to rally behind the team as they aim for a strong performance on the court.

Don’t miss this chance to support local student athletes and experience the fun of high school sports, either in person or from the comfort of your home.
