A Warren County grand jury returned 15 indictments on Aug. 10, charging individuals with offenses ranging from felony eluding police and grand larceny to child neglect, drug possession and felony hit-and-run.

RYAN MEGEATH

Among the most significant cases is a series of six grand larceny indictments against Ryan Montgomery Megeath, all stemming from the alleged theft of heavy equipment and trailers from Skyline Realty Investments LLC on Dec. 18, 2025.

According to the indictments, Megeath is charged with stealing a Bobcat T76, an excavator, a John Deere Gator, a utility trailer, a flatbed trailer and a dump trailer. Each item was valued at $1,000 or more, making each count a felony under Virginia law.

NICHOLAS HUEY

Nicholas Ryan Huey was indicted on a felony charge of eluding law enforcement. Prosecutors allege that on March 7, 2026, Huey failed to stop after receiving a visible or audible signal from a law enforcement officer and drove in a manner that endangered others and interfered with the pursuing police vehicle. The indictment further alleges his speed exceeded the posted limit by more than 20 mph.

DAMIEN THOMPSON

The grand jury also indicted Damien Lee Thompson on a charge of assault and battery of a law enforcement officer. The indictment alleges Thompson assaulted Michael Robinson on Jan. 9, 2026, while Robinson was engaged in the performance of his official duties.

Several indictments involve felony drug possession.

CLINTON REED

Clinton Mitchell Reed was indicted for allegedly possessing a Schedule I or II controlled substance on Aug. 4, 2025.

GARY FAIRFAX

Gary Roland Fairfax faces a similar charge stemming from an alleged offense on March 12, 2026.

RACHEAL HUNTT

Rachael Dawn Hunt was indicted on two counts of possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance for alleged offenses occurring on March 7, 2026. A third indictment lists Rachael Dawn Huntt for alleged possession on April 4, 2026. The indictments spell the last name differently.

EBONE WILLIAMS

Ebone Nicole Williams was indicted on two separate felony drug possession charges related to alleged incidents on June 27 and July 4, 2026.

LATREASURE ROBINSON

The grand jury also returned two felony child neglect indictments against Latreasure Nashae Robinson.

According to the indictments, Robinson is accused of committing willful acts or omissions in the care of a child that were so gross, wanton, and culpable as to demonstrate a reckless disregard for human life. The alleged incidents occurred on April 23 and July 23, 2026.

JASHAR ASHBY

In another case, Jashar Raequon Ashby was indicted on a felony hit-and-run charge.

Prosecutors allege that on July 8, 2026, Ashby was the driver of a vehicle involved in an accident causing at least $1,000 in property damage and failed to stop or provide the required identifying information to law enforcement or the owner of the damaged property.

An indictment is not a determination of guilt. It is a formal accusation that initiates a criminal case. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
