Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA) proudly announces the appointment of Mike Reynolds as the Assistant to the President for Leadership Investment.

Mike Reynolds

Founded in 1892, R-MA is a co-ed private boarding school for grades 6-12 offering a superior university-preparatory curriculum with military values in the scenic surroundings of Front Royal, Virginia. In this newly established role, Mike Reynolds will spearhead the Academy’s efforts in securing significant philanthropic gifts to advance its vision: making leaders who will improve humanity.

With a focus on cultivating relationships with prospective donors, Reynolds will play a pivotal role in securing vital resources to support the Academy’s ongoing initiatives and enhance its educational offerings.

“Randolph-Macon Academy is delighted to welcome Mike Reynolds to our leadership team,” said Brigadier General David C. Wesley, USAF, Retired, President of Randolph-Macon Academy. “Mike’s unique experience in fundraising and non-profits combined with his unwavering commitment to education make him the ideal candidate to drive major philanthropic investment in the Academy.”

With almost three decades of experience working in non-profits, Mike Reynolds brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. Before joining Randolph-Macon Academy, Reynolds served as a consultant and business leader at BrightDot, a leading fundraising consultancy, where he honed his skills in cultivating donor relationships. Additionally, Reynolds earned a CFRM in Philanthropic Studies from the prestigious Lily School of Philanthropy at Indiana University, further enriching his understanding of philanthropic principles and practices.

“I am honored to join Randolph-Macon Academy and contribute to its rich legacy of academic excellence, leadership, and character development,” said Reynolds. I am deeply committed to advancing the Academy’s mission and am eager to collaborate with our dedicated community of supporters to secure the resources needed to empower our students and propel them toward success.”

Randolph-Macon Academy looks forward to leveraging Mike Reynolds’ leadership and vision to strengthen its fundraising initiatives and secure transformative investments that will enrich the educational experience of its students.
