Please Stop the Samuels Library Public/Private Partnership Divorce Proceedings
The Samuels Library public/private partnership “marriage” has been very successful for almost 50 years. Like all marriages, it hasn’t always been a bed of roses, but it has given Front Royal and Warren County a world-class library.
Currently the partnership is in trouble, with both sides hiring lawyers at extra expense. For the good of all the residents of Warren County, and to save precious taxpayer dollars, the Warren County Board of Supervisors AND the Samuels Library Board of Trustees must work together to save the partnership marriage.
Only by direct communication, coordination and cooperation in good faith can the partnership be saved. If that is too hard, then hire an independent mediator/marriage counselor to save the partnership. It will be cheaper than the lawyer fees. Everyone loses in a divorce.
