Tammy E. McClanahan (1970 – 2025)

Tammy E. McClanahan, 54, of Linden, Virginia, and formerly of Annandale, Virginia, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Tammy was born on April 25, 1970, in Falls Church, Virginia, the daughter of the late Roger Richard McClanahan and Janice Elaine Feathers McClanahan.

Tammy was a Respiratory Therapist for over 30 years. She was a huge fan of the Grateful Dead, attending many concerts throughout the years. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star.

She had a great love of animals, especially cats and Shakedown. Tammy also loved to travel.

Her family and her many friends will greatly miss Tammy.

Surviving is a sister, Vicki L. McClanahan of Linden; and many other extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, with Larry Creamer officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal.

Per Tammy’s request, all are asked to wear tie-dye for her service.

Jarrod Weaver, Vance Glomski, Jared Carr, Gregory Self, Michael Bang, and Chris Wilder will be pallbearers.
