Darlene Oliver Smith (1949 – 2025)

Darlene Oliver Smith, 75, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Ms. Smith was born on August 28, 1949, in Front Royal, Virginia, to the late Harry and Bertha Beatty Atwood.  She retired from Valley Health Warren Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Castle (David) of Winchester; two sisters, Cindy Cabiao (Ben) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Kay Boger (Wayne) of Williamsburg, Virginia; and granddaughter, Ashlynn Dowdy of Winchester.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Warren County, 1245 Progress Drive, Front Royal, Virginia 22630.
