Christopher Lane “Chris” Batcheler, 60, of Linden, Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 6, 2025.

Christopher Lane “Chris” Batcheler

Born August 11, 1964, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to Charles and Patricia Batcheler, Chris was a devoted husband, father, and son. He ran a family landscaping company with his father before starting his own, and later worked as a sales manager for a national turf company.

Chris was known for his heart of gold, quick wit, and love of cooking, gardening, and grilling. He brought laughter and warmth to all who knew him.

Surviving him, along with his parents, are his wife of ten years, Susan Dixon Batcheler; daughters Brittany, Baillee, and Bradleigh; brother, Clifton Batcheler; and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
