
Caleb Benton McKinstry
The family will receive friends and family at Maddox Funeral Home on Thursday, April 9th, from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 10th, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Bible Church with Pastor Bobby Stepp officiating.
Caleb was born on April 5, 2010, in Towson, Maryland, to David and Lindsay Vaught McKinstry. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jeff Vaught, and grandmother, Shirley McKinstry.
Surviving along with his parents are his grandmother, Sharon Vaught of Front Royal; grandfather, Wayne McKinstry (Loretta) of Springfield, Illinois; great-grandmother, Shirley Vaught of Front Royal; sister, Hadley McKinstry and three brothers, Reid McKinstry, Isaac McKinstry and Sawyer McKinstry all of Front Royal; two aunts, Courtney Baker-Williams (Brandon) of Bentonville, Virginia and Amy Tyndall (Keith) of Brookline, Missouri and their families.
Caleb had a witty sense of humor and shared many inside jokes with those close to him. He was a foodie, enjoying good food from around the world, and loved to share the unique flavors he found with those around him. Fascinated by unique or obscure topics, especially unusual plants and animals, he was a continuous learner, digging deep to learn all there was to know about the subjects of interest to him. His incredible memory allowed him to remember and share what he learned in astounding detail. Caleb’s excitement for the things he was passionate about was contagious. He will be missed tremendously.
