Blue Ridge Arts Council Wraps Up 37th Gazebo Gatherings Season with Ryan Jewel Concert

Published

on

The Blue Ridge Arts Council will close its 37th annual Gazebo Gatherings Summer Concert Series on Thursday, Aug. 13, with a hometown performance by Ryan Jewel & Band at the downtown Front Royal gazebo.

The free concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Town Commons, Main and Chester streets, and marks the finale of the 2026 summer series.

A Front Royal native, Ryan Jewel returns to the gazebo stage with a full band performance featuring what organizers describe as “classic country nostalgia with a modern edge.” The show will blend Jewel’s original songs with well-known country classics.

“It’s been an amazing summer of music! We can’t believe our final concert of the season is upon us!” the Blue Ridge Arts Council shared in announcing the event. “Nothing is more hometown than having Ryan close out our season!”

The organization also thanked the community for supporting this year’s concert series.

“Thank you to all of our audience members for spending your Thursday nights with us and making our season a big success!” the council said. “We look forward each year to reconnecting with old friends and welcoming new faces to our community. THANK YOU!”

Concertgoers are encouraged to make an evening of it by dining at local restaurants, visiting downtown shops and enjoying live music.

“Enjoy a night out, grab dinner, visit shops, and listen to great tunes,” organizers said. “Join us each Thursday evening at 7 p.m. — officially the coolest night of the week!”

The Gazebo Gatherings Summer Concert Series is presented by the Blue Ridge Arts Council in partnership with the Virginia Commission for the Arts, the Town of Front Royal and Warren County.
